Turkey: where American Cars live forever. love this shape and the effort that went into a car built for only ONE year!! (most of the trim on this car is stainless steel)

Excellent shot. The sky, sea, sand, and car are all perfectly rendered. The wide-angle distortion is very effective. I especially like the bit of surf visible beyond the beach. Beautiful!

hey just a quick question..is this image really two or three different layers?

I ask because of the reflection on the deck lid and there seems to be no tread marks on the sand... it almost appears as tread marks from another layer blending into this layer???

Either way, it is an awesome image!

Mert..enough parts are now available to take the original 57, update the suspension, new engine and transmission, excellent disk brakes, nice radial tires and get this...(57 coupe in everyday use in Bisbee)

I love it!!!! How can a car sitting still be moving so fast?!?!?!? Your ability to use contrast continues to astound me.

Mert: I live in a part of Tucson filled with Artisans and small shops. Most of these shops fabricate, design, build and repair. At least 2 of them are small factories that build custom cars. In Tucson alone there must be over 100 small machine shops. We consider ourselves to be the "silent hot rod capital of the West" We are blessed with dry weather and low humidity. 40 and 50 year old cars are common here. Many of them, like cars in Cuba are very original. But..we have the parts to keep them going without having to improvise.
