You used a good color of blue. I really like the splashes. I just would have preferred the glass not so close to the edge. No big deal, though.

This was one of 20 pictures I had to take until I was satisfied with

the result. What do you think about it ?

What a great photo!!! I love it. How did you do it? Did you use food coloring or a filter? Also, this is very creative. Good Job!!!

First I really like this type of idea ,tried it a few times my self.

I really like the colors

something that doesnt appear in my work.

what I dont like is the shadow at the background try placing the light above the glass, might help.

I used black background you can try it also ,and I guess I can try white..

anyway nice work just get rid of the shadow it looks like an unfished job with the shadow on.

the thing about the shadow the way it is, is that it's equal to the glass. if the shadow was cast above the glass it would have a more imposing look and change the picture. i think it would be worth a try if you want the shadow to be part of the picture. the overall effect would be eerie with a shadow looming over a glass of brilliant blue liquid. it might even add to the question of where's the water coming from? some evil scientist of sorts? this may not sound like what you had in mind when you shot this, but the potential for it is there :)

Thank you very much for the comments ! I wanted the shadow to be on the picture because it is part of the composition, but you are right, I should try to get rid of it to see how it looks. The only problem is the flash which is fixed on my Olympus. I'd have to buy an external flash and a TTL cable. The blue color: I first tried with blue ink, but after I saw the result on our new white kitchen, I had to stop and so it took me two hours of photoshop.....

Well you can try using a bulb (trobes\tungsten or whatever you wish) insted of a flash

which may be hard to work with and to predict result (probably less problem since your using digital..)

the color issue I guess you can either try using some colored liquid (some drink maybe),only blue would be hard to find, or just use some sort of

color (something less messy.. :)) ,probably the result wont be like a well done job in photoshop

but I prefer photos untouched by any photo editing software.
