This is quite humourous and quite catches the playfulness of this boy! Critique? Here 'tis - love the DOF (not too much), the leading lines of the split-rail fencing and the mulch roadbed, the centeredness of the subject (well-balanced with the arms extended like that). To my eye, it all works.

 

Plus, it's in black and white...perfect choice!

I have to agree with all the other comments previously posted. However, I would like to add that the contrast is excellent, especially since you did not lose any detail. The other aspect I really enjoyed is the feeling of the road, rising up to meet me. It has a strong offsetting effect on the boy making him seem larger than life. Great photo.
