This is fantastic! I wish I had taken this shot...

Another good one, Jerry. You know, cropping out the last bird on the right would have made this shot even better (IMHO).

Jerry, I love this one as it is and would not dare to crop out the right bird that adds to balance the composition. Congratulations!

Very Nice! I really like the bird on the far right. While he is out of focus, his reflection is not. It adds interest to the photo.

I really didn't expect to get such attention on this one. Really appreciate all of you taking time to give suggestions and comments on it. Some people mentioned the fourth stilt on the top right corner that makes this shot more interesting but also some think it should be cropped off to make the whole image more symmetrical. I think both statements are valid and it all depends on the personal preference. I personally like it there because a couple of reasons and the main one is to keep the whole image not too flat/symmetrical as Bryan mentioned. Thanks again for all your input.

Excellent shot, Jerry. Simplicity & elegance from Nature.

To my eye the fourth bird must stay : he represents the loner, the individual, the free spirit standing away from the flock. He is the Steppenwolf or Jonathan Livingston Seagull of the stilt world.

Are the whites quite right?
