alexander mandl 0 Posted January 5, 2006 Hello, this picture is also available as color version in the India folder. Please if you do not like the image - give me some comments on what you don't like... a bad raiting with a comment is a good rating for me - comments are always welcome. Not only the good ones... Rating bad without comments is worthless! regards and thanks alex Link to comment
mahesh_deshpande 0 Posted January 6, 2006 The expression on the face of the child is very nice. Although the caption disturbs me a little bit. In my perception the word "Ghetto" carries a negative connotation. Children, especially of that age are innocent and should not be associated with "Ghetto" irrespective of what background they come from. Other wise 7/7! Link to comment
eye2eyephoto 0 Posted January 6, 2006 great capture... composition is outstanding, tho I might have given the cup just a smidge of space at the bottom(?) It IS a "disturbing" image.. the hair, the filth, and the face show neglect that mirrors the surroundings. "Ghetto" was proper for this, I thought... and doesn't negate or lessen the child's innocence. I appreciate your thoughts on ratings without comments as well.. ;o) Link to comment

baerbel 0 Posted January 6, 2006 Excellent capture and appropriate title. Unfortunately ghettos do exist and children do live in them. A halfway intelligent person would not hold that against them, on the contrary. The child is adorable and beautiful and I love your choice of b&w with this image. :) Link to comment
