A Break in the Storm

Travelling through Nevada, this picture of the dark, stormy sky

giving way to sunlit clouds, was taken just before sunset.

Nice capture Greg, it's a great job of grabbing the rays.

Excellent storm landscape. With all of the black at the top, some people would have thought to move the camera down to include more of the mountains, but I really like how you show a little bit of mountains and a lot of black sky.

I love the redish-orangish clouds balanced against the dark storm clouds with the rays of light shooting through all. A great shot!

Excellent capture of the sun' rays! I'd like to suggest a slightly different crop to consider: Crop from the top so the ground and black upper sky are approximately the same dimension... to my way of thinking presenting a bit better balance.
