Snapped 12 minutes before civil twilight and 40 minutes before sunrise. Moon is 100 percent full.

Shutter 1s, aperture f2.8

NOTE: The Twilight Shots presentation in my portfolio contains other images taken before/after sunrise/sunset and still close enough to civil twilight to allow for some natural light. A very interesting time for capturing unique pictures.

The positioning of the boat with respect to the reflection is perfect... I just wish you'd uploaded a larger version of the photo.

best thing is the saturated blue tone....and for me this is realy very nice picture....I like the night shots...and this one is done very beautifully....well done Bill

Those blues are incredible. I didn't realize at first that that is the moon up there, and I was trying to figure out how you got the colors you did.

i love the long, soft reflection of the moon. as for the moon, its beatifully situated between the illuminated clouds. the blues are pretty as well. great job!
