mark_duke 0 Posted December 20, 2001 Fairly "cheap and nasty" (lots of errors) photoshop work I did tonight, trying to justify a roll with not much on it :) conceptually worth working on? Link to comment
mark_duke 0 Posted December 21, 2001 Conceptually worth working on? (cheap + nasty photoshop work, lots of errors).. Rating? Link to comment
john_alexander 0 Posted December 21, 2001 This is a very dynamic image. Graphically rich. Interesting color palette. I like it. The grainyness from your "photoshopping" gives it an interesting texture. Not for everyone's taste, but right up my alley! Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted December 21, 2001 Interesting, but the railing for the most part, is out of focus Link to comment
mark_duke 0 Posted December 21, 2001 There was *very* little DOF on the railing, it is sharp for a very short distance, I am deciding wether to do a higher res version with all the trimmings (ie sharpening, edge creation etc) Link to comment
richard_h._weiner 0 Posted December 21, 2001 Unless you are tight for time, go for it. The only question you'll face is..."Have I gone too far?"...so do the manips, post them here and we'll tell you...[grin] Link to comment
paulfisher 0 Posted December 22, 2001 It works for me, though I would have preferred greater DOF. I have something similar here. By the way, where were you standing to take this? You're on the wrong side of the barrier for safety! Link to comment
mark_duke 0 Posted December 22, 2001 hehe yes I am on the wrong side of the safety barrier :) There is very limited DOF, I took it from my 1.4ais wide open, resting on the bottom of the rail, for 2 seconds, I was amazed it was sharp.. Link to comment
