I've rated this image @ 8/8. This is not another super saturated Velvia sunset or a modeling photograph. This image speaks volumes about the subject's lifestyle. This is the perfect image to attach to a article describing the subjects manner of living. I've played around with this image on my computer and managed to tone down the strong Tungsten cast by altering the color balance.

I'm always curious to know...was this a planned shot or did you happen upon it? The lighting and warmth that comes through in this shot is wonderful. This moment is "full" of "much to say"...silently...captured...and you're absolutely right (undoubtedly), your daughter is beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

Stacy thanks for the kind comments. The shot was posed. My daughter lit the candles and I ran outside to take the photo.
