The center of the image is quite "hot", I suspect that the red channel is pegged at 255. If you shot these RAW, what you can do is blend the even exposure shot and another one processed at about -1.5ev.

It's in upper canyon, the same place as your photo "UAC #001", but taken by a differrent angle.
