Landrum Kelly 65 Posted December 19, 2005 This is unbelievably beautiful. I would like to know more about the place and about how you did this. --Lannie Link to comment
josephine 24 Posted December 19, 2005 This is south coast of Crimea, Ukraine. The time of shooting - evening. And some correction in Photoshop. Link to comment
uk_wanderer 0 Posted December 19, 2005 Fantastic shot. Great location. Would love to see this larger. Would make a marvellous wallpaper for computers. You should add this to a stock photo site and earn enough for your subscription.Wish I could afford to pay for you. You certainly earnt it. Link to comment

billfoster 0 Posted December 20, 2005 Fabulous! I can't even believe this was shot with the same camera I have ... it's so far beyond anything I could do! May I ask exactly what you did in PS to get those colors? They are so painterly, like a 17th century landscape. They actually look so natural that one can tell immediately that they aren't, if that makes sense. Great job. Link to comment
josephine 24 Posted December 20, 2005 Firstly, in this work I used circular polarization filter. Secondly, correction in Photoshop - Levels, Color Balans, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation. Best regards! Link to comment
l._matt. 0 Posted December 21, 2005 Great! The colors are worthy of my more beautiful dreams Link to comment
dguindon 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Nice photo...I think. Some natural properties are missing and a few odd things. Lack of erosion, plants in strange places and light reflecting black...is it just me or what? Link to comment
dguindon 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Hi Richard. The lack of response only assures me that this is a Bryce 5.5 or Swift 3D image for the most part. I own both of these softwares...google them and see what these applications are capable of. I really only wanted to congratulate on it's quality...either way. Can we see the original before photoshop corrections Josephine? If not, that's OK too. I just wanted to know what I'm seeing is real or not...that's all. Merry Christmas! Link to comment
dguindon 0 Posted December 25, 2005 You are right Richard I shouldn't jump to any conclusions to response time this time of year. Nieve of me. Galen Rowell happens to be the photographer I admire the most and have read that point a few times...thanks for the reminder. Ultimately though, aspiring to someones alleged misrepresented of photos can lead to you own misfortune. Say I wanted to visit here, am I going to find it or search forever. I hope to never see a bunch of photographers searching for something that only exsists in the mind of a few. Curiously, you have a calming effect in your words...are you like that in person as well Richard? Link to comment
dguindon 0 Posted December 25, 2005 The last time I referred to my greater authority it resulted in disaster...I know a set up when I see it! (-: Link to comment
