Many great aspects of this photo: the disappearing dock, the framing, the colors.

Thank you, Carl and Andrew, for kindly commenting. I notice some compression damage, especially at the end of the pier. This wasn't in the original image.

Super composition and good quality light used to perfection - works for me. Never really had an eye myself for this type of image though it has great appeal.
