johnw436 1 Posted December 12, 2005 Tried a symmetrical approach so that the details pop out instead of the subject in and of itself. This church is in downtown Tampa on busy street, sandwiched between a parking garage and a municipal building. Straight on was the only approach to the church's facade. comments welcome. andyandrews34photo.net 0 Posted December 12, 2005 Unique and pleasing composition. And the dense capture medium (4.5x6cm) etches the delicate textures that contribute to the verity of a photograph, as opposed to painting, say. One thing Ansel Adams practiced and taught was to attempt to capture as broad a tonal range as possible, when you wish to add drama. You have done this admirably! Link to comment
