The mighty beast charged out of the canyon...

If you have been to the popular stops at the Grand Canyon, you

probably know how agressive these little guys can be. One actually

drove my mother to the ground! She thought it was going to attack

her. Anyway, I particularly like this shot, and would be interested

to hear your valued comments and ratings.

Unusually nice pose on the squirrel. A bit more depth of field to bring in some of the background canyon would be good. This is also, for all intents and purposes, a portrait, so the usual observations about reflectors apply.

Since this is a portrait shot, you might see if you can get the squirrel to pout.

 

My first reaction was "Whew! I made it". Nice shot. With the grand canyon way behind him, it makes it appear he was mountain climbing and reached the top.

 

I think the Grand Canyon out of focus a bit is a good idea.

I've felt a lot like this guy when I've hiked out of the canyon. His portrait is much better than the ones I have of myself at the head of Bass, Bright Angel, Hermit and others.
