jc-photography 0 Posted November 20, 2005 Constructive critique/feedback would be great, thanks for having a look- Jake. Link to comment
Laurance R 0 Posted November 20, 2005 This is very nice. The filtering may be SLIGHTLY over done, in that the brightness of the foreground, which does look great, isn't intuitive, given the darkness elswewhere in the photo. Unless the moon was bright, there's a slight artificial quality to it. Good looking image meanwhile. Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted November 20, 2005 Jake, beautiful seascape, I like the rocks in the foreground. The image looks like a painting, outstanding capture. 7/7 Link to comment
christiankiely 0 Posted November 20, 2005 I like what you're trying to do here, but there are two issues that I see, and they're both pretty much related. The horizon being cut by the rock breaks the continiuty of the scene and to my eye is a bit disturbing. The other issue there is that since that element is there, you had to start the grad below it, which cripples the shadow detail and is giving the tell tall grad line. PS The sky is perfect, but I agree that the FG needs to be darket... there is no direct light on it. Link to comment
jesus pizarro1 0 Posted November 22, 2005 Great composition, where would stand out the great depth of focus, the perspective of the image and the variety of tones. Regards. Link to comment
john keaveney 0 Posted November 22, 2005 I very much like this type of image and I like the way you have treated this one. Have a look in my "seascapes" folder and you will find one I did, but I think, after seeing yours I should have held out for a sunset. Regards from Ireland Link to comment
