andreas fischer 0 Posted November 18, 2005 Finaly here is No.VI of my Dreamlandscape Series This is the last part of the first Edition. At least 2 more editions with the same theme and concept will follow (are still to made) I was asked several times "whats that for a project with these Dreamlandscapes ?" So what`s it all about ? The Idea came when i visited a furniture designer, who created some realy special frames for himself but had no pictures for it Soon we had the idea that i make some pictures for his frames, then we had the idea to sell frames and pictures together. But what kind of pictures would fit in his frames in his house? soon i had a concept: prints on canvas people, nude, minimalistic, photorealistic but not at the first view recognizable that its a photo ( should look like its maybe a photo, maybe a painting, maybe sprayed...), sureal, pictures wich need more than one view to recognize what is shown there,....so i had the idea to make something like my "waterlandscapes" wich show a nude body but not at the first view soon i made a shooting but than it took a long time ( several weeks) until i did know what to make out of these shots, wich way to go....how to make it realistic but sureal looking too, how to make it minimalistic, how to make it needed to look more then one time to see the bodylandscape in the landscape...and than during one night 6 pictures where made, 2 blue (winterlike) 2 green (spinglike) and 2 yeloowish (desertlike) than this designer and i wanted to try to find an art gallery selling those pictures with those frames together after i had found a printer who printed these pictures in a quality on canvas wich i found acceptable...i had to wait for the frames...and i waited and waited...this designr never did get his frames ready... so now i am working on 2(or more) other series with this concept ...before i try to find a good art gallery, on my own, where i will make an exibition with pictures of this theme and concept No. I-V of this Series u`ll find here: Dreamlandscape No.IDreamlandscape No.II (as a "new years card") Dreamlandscape No.IIIDreamlandscape No.IVDreamlandscape No.V Link to comment

contessa 0 Posted November 20, 2005 Looked at the balance of your work, then I realized the full concept of the folio. Brilliant jet gentle in theory and flow. Terrific work :) Link to comment
