Very nice capture, I appreciate your using BW presentation here and also the sky fits perfectly with the "expression" of the statue. Very good composition and strong placement of the elements (the jaws and eyes on the left, the dome as a counterweight, the street drawing me in...) Beautiful in its way... Maybe I'd give it a little more contrast or deepen the blacks, but that is only a finishing touch...

 

(I stopped giving rates but this deserves the best)

Excellent. The sky is perfect. This wouldn't have worked if it was a clear day.

I have a similar photo in my portfolio, although the sky is much less dramatic. Is it the actual sky or a composite?

The dark clouds makes it omnimous.

check out your local Pier 1. They've got a black and white calendar with pics of Paris. I believe this is very similiar to that photo other than the manipulated sky.
