Hello Tom, this is very pleasing. Simple lines and composition, a near monotone and the block of pure and vivid colour. Very nice work.

Is that blue real or PS?

Best wishes. Pete

It's real, but I did add some saturation. Should have used by polarizing filter but didn't have it with me when I came across this building.

oh, dear Tom :)

I like the lines coming up and down in the same color and then the "Theatral Suspens" with the blue to break all the rules.

Superb!

Oh, Santorini... a treasure.Aside from the stairs that brings the viewer to the door, what makes it for me is the blue rectangle..It revives the composition that otherwise would have been nice but less interesting, good execution. Pnina

Well seen Tom, part of blue adds depth in the whole and good composition.

Ah, opinions differ. Personally I kind of liked the plate over the door.

Thx for the comment,

Hello Tom, All of the lines and angles of this shot are so intriguing, and of course the angled spot of blue....off center, is magnificent. One of so many images of yours, that really sets you apart in my (minds) eye! Regards to you, Todd

Very nice composition. The lines flow so smoothly and keep the entire image interesting. The splash of blue light is just gravy. Well done.

Cheers,

I like this image becouse of the arrangement of very different kind of lines into the frame... it is stunning becouse it resmbles one study on architectonical lines and is almost monocromatic, but that small blue spot reminds me we are in santorini - notoriously there we play with blue color (in houses, sky, tree and white contrast), but this approach is really intresting and original.

Hi Tom

I like staircases. This one is quite nice.

I find if I scroll out the words, it is even better.

Cheers,

and all the best in 2007 to you and your loved ones.

Maggie
