I hope you will like this portrait. I used a very large aperture

thus getting a very shallow depth of field. I used a Mamiya C330

medium format camera. Enjoy

There is a lot of wisdom, humour and sadness in his eyes. They tell a great story and the blurring works well to bring this out.

...The facial details are remarkable, especially the forehead and around the eyes. Personally, I would have prefered the details in the beard. However, I am sure you had your reasons for doing it this way. Stunning image overall. Regards, Kelvin.
