This isn't Apis mellifera, the honey bee that all we westerners are used to. Any idea what species this one is? Apis cerana maybe? Lovely shot, at any rate.

Alex, all I know is that, this kind of bees usually get the honey from water lily (here I took the photo with him inside a water lily).
