I decided to leave the weathervane since without it, the view of the pond seemed generic. Also, I look at that weathervane everyday so I am used to seeing it paired with the pond! Thanks so much for your comments and for looking. Much appreciated.

I'm glad you like this photo. It must get very cold where you live if this snow reminds you of Halloween! We don't usually see snow until January or February here . . .

your photographs are exelant and regarding your comments regarding the use of PS I would say ,they that knock it will most probably not be able to master the software.(as I say a lot (regarding PS ("well thats what it is there for")isnt it??????????????
