ekaterina oniani 0 Posted October 25, 2005 I'm a very beginner in fotography, and would be very glad to be critisized by competent photographers, that will surely improve my knowledge. Thanx in advance:) Link to comment
frivera 0 Posted October 25, 2005 Have you seen an old movie by Carl Dreyer, La passion de Jean d'Arc? This girl, the perspective and this splendid b&w, remids me that film. Very good. Link to comment
birdkevin 0 Posted October 25, 2005 An unusual angle that works very well to capture a lot of emotion which makes me happy or sad i'm not sure but I like it a lot Link to comment
marizka_davis 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Her sad mood is captured well by the use of BW, I really like the simplicity of the background in this picture. Link to comment
ekaterina oniani 0 Posted October 27, 2005 This is a little Georgian lady (age of 8-10) preparing for a national folk dance. She's very shy seeing a photo-camera staring at her. Background: a bit cloudy evening sky. Link to comment
jasonwilliamsphotography 0 Posted January 10, 2007 I like the strong contrast and expression in this shot. Well done! Link to comment

paulduss 0 Posted January 10, 2007 Another example of very good b&w handling IMO (let alone the sensitive, terrific capture of her expression, of course). I had to get used to the white halo around her face, but the angling is perfect, the lock of hair a fine touch, and that look is delightfully unscrutable. Very compelling image. Mes compliments!
