jerrymat 5 Posted October 10, 2005 My first reaction was positive, then I grew unhappy with this photograph. The reason is that it uses "formal composition" for a subject that should be quite informal. Formal composition is marked by bilateral symmetry of the image - best used for formal situations (weddings and ceremonies) and classical types of architecture (legislative buildings with central domes, etc. This subject needs the lack of symmetry of a non formal composition to imply its inherent motion and speed.
