I like the idea of putting a red-dressed person in the shot to give a sense of scale, and to help the viewer feeling there as well [a look to my pictures should explain why]

This told, the contrast of the warm tones of the jetty/jacket and of the cold hues of the lake/cloud/mountain works very well in isolating these two element.

I might have done two things differently. First, the horizon cutting through your model is not so optimal, all against the lake would have looked better to me. The second thing is that your model is looking outside the picture...so it looks to me that the most interesting things are somewhere else, and this detract from the nice symmetric composition with the asymmetric position of the person, all well done.
