satzinger 0 Posted September 20, 2005 I like the picture; would be nice if it could be a littltle bit more contrasty! Link to comment
d-h 0 Posted September 20, 2005 Great sense of speed, feeling and desire in this image. With a minimal time spent re-working the colours/contrast I predict a POW contender maybe... Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted September 20, 2005 power, aggression, stare, colors, composition...all captivating..backlit silver lined dust is amazing addition 2 this remarkable photo. Link to comment

tedg 0 Posted September 20, 2005 I like the image...however...the color does not pop for me and I have no clue what the rider is actually doing. Is he attacking the photographer with a broom? Link to comment
minicucci 0 Posted September 20, 2005 Just a great capture. Magnificent, really. This shot has everything. Colors could use more intensity and separation, as already noted above. My cut at it attached, but this may go too far from the "dusty" look of the posted original. Probably something inbetween? Link to comment
apotheker 0 Posted September 20, 2005 This is another fine capture. I much prefer the one i had viewed last week which showed the wonderful swinging motion of the right arm. Also, i have some similar concerns as addresseed by Patricia, and while i find a beauty to the softness, of this & the previous image, an increase to the saturation does add a certain power to the image. In either case I feel you have brought us fine moments from a unique & distant magical part of our world. Thank You. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted September 20, 2005 Another dynamic and powerful image, the horse and rider are both looking right at us with such intensity. And a successful thrust and the tent peg is "captured". I do like the hazy dusty atmosphere but I also like the alteration with more color saturation. Either way it's still a wonderful image from another culture and part of the world few of us know. Thank you. Link to comment
michaelhills 0 Posted September 21, 2005 Excellent capture. Contrast is subjective. Personally, I would probably strike a balance between your original and Patricia's interpretation. You know, what elevates this image for me is the sheer intensity and focus in the man's eyes. Beautiful. M Link to comment

ell 0 Posted September 21, 2005 This is really a remarkable action shot. Very powerful and dramatic, given his intense expression as an added bonus. I actually like the colours which also complements the intensity and drama of raking up the sand and dust. (Sorry Patricia, loved your recommended vibrant colours but I think the original image comes together nicely as is). My only question is might it not be a little wee bit better to frame it a little off-center and direct the eye to what he's after on his right? Link to comment
