daniel montero 0 Posted September 17, 2005 I like a lot, very original, but I think that shadow must be included complete. Cheers from Canary Islands Link to comment
mikeseb 0 Posted September 17, 2005 ...but a couple of suggestions: 1. I'd crop the image at left just beyond the tower-like structure on the horizon, as that far-left 1/4 or so of the image contributes nothing to its power; 2. I'd remove what appears to be a white dust spot just above and to camera left of the umbrella in the model's right hand. It detracts from the clean spare tonality that makes this image work so well; 3. I agree also that including the whole shadow would be more effective, provided that the background there would have allowed it--not a major point, IMO. Nicely done overall. Thoughtful feedback, positive or negative, on my work is greatly appreciated. Link to comment
jmf 0 Posted September 17, 2005 another vote for keeping the shadow whole. I think you can crop the left side in a little, but he needs space into the frame. Burning Man? Link to comment
alejandrokeller 0 Posted October 3, 2005 It would be interesting to see the shadow complete, but that would probably make the framing less interesting. Regards, Alejandro Link to comment
