please help me with your comments.This is my first attempt. Thank you.

brilliant photo...the lighting is perfect...the flower really stands out...the square frame and the white border make it very appealing...

great colors, very enjoyable.

Nice composition and good focus but I think you could have done better on the exposure, it seems a little dark to me.

you know, i think this may be an issue of different monitors with different brightness. i have a fairly bright monitor, on a laptop (which i understand tend to be brighter than descktops), and the colors and tones are fine. on my desktop this is darker. just my two cents.

Ben,I am still learning and please guide me as what is the best regarding colors. as for this i try to bring it to its origin as possible. Am i doing the right thing now? I've seen your portfolio and i find it impressive and very original. I like it.

Lim, thanks, my way is all trial and error. if you look around the site's forums, you will find tips on calibrating your monitor, suggest you try that. but otherwise, i often compare my colors to photos of mine and others that seem to work well and use that as a guide in adjusting and tweaking what i post. you can post, take a look, then replace, all before designating for critique. i do that all the time til it seems right to me. this one, on my monitor you've chosen deeper colors and it works for me. but then, not everyone's monitor is as bright as the one i am on. does that make sense?
