garyprzy 0 Posted November 22, 2001 Phillip, beautiful composition. I know I'm not in Florida anymore! Link to comment
jodie coston 0 Posted November 22, 2001 The falling water is beautiful in the first place, but the scale added by the tiny people makes this outstanding. Link to comment
chris_browne 0 Posted November 23, 2001 Excellent shot! I love that the water is mostly frozen in this shot (as opposed to blurred in so manby waterfall shots). The people for scale and content are great! Link to comment
isaac 0 Posted November 23, 2001 Very nice indeed! I think it could be even better if your cropped out the occlusion (tree?) down the far bottom right, which is a little distracting. Link to comment
th_too 0 Posted November 23, 2001 Nice picture of the waterfall and the little people there shows the scale. Link to comment
pmj 6 Posted November 23, 2001 The scale presented in this image is what makes it work. Excellent! Link to comment
geoffeldridge 0 Posted November 27, 2001 all said above. The position of the ground line, the people and the relatively fast exposure time (to freeze the falls) all combine to make this a photo to remember. Link to comment
pns 0 Posted December 4, 2001 of this picture is perfect. I would make as big as possible print of this picture to get the idea of massive water fall. Link to comment
chris_quan 0 Posted December 12, 2001 At first, it looks scarely. It's scarely still after staring at it for a while. This first impression is amazing! Bravo! Go get your donut now. Link to comment
dave miller 0 Posted January 1, 2002 Whilst this is a much photographed view it still impresses, I guess Im overawed by natures power and grandeur. Link to comment
stefanovandelli 0 Posted July 20, 2003 I really enjoyed looking at your portfolio. I love your uncommon technique and admire your ability to look at subjects from a different angle. This photo is no exception. I can feel the power and almost hear the noise. Congratulations and regards,Stefano Link to comment
lallisig 0 Posted February 11, 2004 "Skógarfoss" I am quite sure, the tight crop confuses me a little bit so correct me if I am wrong. Always a classic plase to photograph. It gives a nice scale of the size of this waterfall to have those people there, but maybe, and just maybe a wider shot would have more appeal to me. Link to comment
