frank_melchior 0 Posted September 10, 2005 This is a double exposure inside the S2, I took the first, then rotated myself 180 for the second exposure. Works for you? Link to comment
labuenaluz 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Yeah it works for me Frank, kind of Tsoi perspective, I like the result of the two exposures, nice job! Link to comment

dan_cr 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Nice Space Needle shot! Where from? Abstract and weird in a good way. Link to comment
chris hughes 0 Posted September 10, 2005 The space needle is an interesting subject to photograph. It presents all sorts of eye catching shapes that suggest endless compositions. It's something to do with the combination of soft, curving lines and sharp edged surfaces. This is a very good image. Reminds me of the collages of Kurt Schwitters or maybe Marcel Duchamp's Nude Descending a Staircase. I'd hang it on my wall. Of all the Space Needle shots in your portfolio, I think this one is by far and away the best. 7/7 Link to comment
mikemaney 0 Posted September 10, 2005 I am not usually a huge fan of composites, but this is an outstanding image. Link to comment
j_doyle 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Wow! I agree with Chris, like a Duchamp. Maybe Kandinsky. The colors and forms you've achieved are fabulous. There's a very dynamic feel. Excellent work. I, too, would hang this on my wall. Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted September 10, 2005 This is fantastic in a futuristic/science-fiction lind of way. 7/7 Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Nicely done, Frank. The sky was definitely interesting last night. You made good use of the in-camera double-exposure function that yields a unique capture which leans more heavily toward abstract. It's been raining lately, so don't forget to "look down" next time you're there. ^_^ Link to comment
pdoyle 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Have to say, this is VERY cool. I like the effect that the cloudy blue sky gives to the whole thing. Link to comment

frank_melchior 0 Posted September 12, 2005 Wow, such nice comments! I planned on shooting this one at late night, but we had awesome light at sunset. This was taken right below the Space Needle and that other structure you see is the gift shop/lobby. I'm overwhelmed by all the attention this image is getting. Mostly, thanks To Wilson Tsoi for the inspiration I got for this shot. Link to comment
ghuczek 0 Posted September 12, 2005 Excellent work. What I find really fascinating about this is that the second exposure has not created an exact symmetry. There are similarities, but the differences make the overall composition very fluid. Amazing photo. Link to comment
