mike olvera 0 Posted September 1, 2005 Great idea! But the bride and groom are a bit dark. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 2, 2005 are you the one who posted a question regarding this in the wedding/event forum? Cool. The couple does look a bit dark but I cant say I could do better. Knicki Link to comment
robert_schaffer 0 Posted September 2, 2005 Thanks for the comments so far, I know there are many things I'll improve upon for next time, but it turned out great for the first wedding try and the B&G had a good time doing it. Tips for next time, lower the tripod to get the B&G faces lower in the heart, set the Q-flash at 1/16 to light them a little better. Yes, I was the one who asked the question about a week ago,... thanks for the tips! In PS, I can bring the curves up a little on the B&G, and it will look better, this image is straight from the camera, just cropped and sized to post. Link to comment
robert_schaffer 0 Posted September 2, 2005 The camera was on a tripod only, no cable release used. The couple practiced once without the sparklers lit, and started at the top where you see them in the image. When they noticed the flash go off, they began the motion around the heart to meet at the bottom. A 2 second exposure allowed this to be captured this way. Link to comment
sunnynikko 0 Posted September 7, 2005 crop it a little bit more from the top, and get rid of the cement in the bottom (crop that out as well) and your photo will look amazing. Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted September 14, 2005 Well done! I wish I had thought of that during the 30 plus years I did wedding photography. Link to comment
