cozzi 0 Posted August 31, 2005 I was out taking pictures of the full moon with my old cata when I got lucky and observed that planes landing at san jose international were headed in the right direction. The rest was just being ready at the right moment. The camera was on tripod and shutter speed was 1/180 sec. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted August 31, 2005 Beautifully captured. Great framing as well, you caught the plane in the perfect spot, I think. Good shot. Link to comment
airwinger 0 Posted September 1, 2005 You have beaten my friend with this one. He was only talking about capturing a similar shot the other night whilst he was out practicing with his new telescope. Well framed and worth waiting for. Just one question, does the moon show this yellow from your part of the world. Look at my "Night Time" folder at my moon photo's and let me know what you think. cozzi 0 Posted September 3, 2005 well, white balance is kind of tricky for this kind of shot. If I set the white balance to "direct sunlight" it gets less yellow, and observationally it was yellow but not as much. I should probably manually set the white balance for this one. Link to comment
