The Impus Domesticus can be found in caves and gardens throughout New

England. It subsists primarily on a diet of flies, nightmares, and

porridge. Its mating habits are nil since it is immortal. It can be

seen only by small children and dogs.

Hi Edward! Given his natural inclination to hide, I get the impression that the imp's not too happy with his extremem close up.

IMO, I'd go for natual habitat.

Love the lean of the wall behind the little darling. The loss of quality from the crop may work in his favour, making it difficult to read the words behind him... a latin incantation to bring him to life!
