patricks
jim, you should know by now that HRF and Nocti is NOT a viable combination... great portrait. it comes out a bit grainy on my screen, esp. the area on the right ear and behind. is it a straigh up scan from film? Karim Ghantous
Jim, amazing light & focus; got to love the drama of paper-thin DOF. Peter, nice, naturalistic shot - nice work, mate! Reina... ahhh, what can I say?...

jim_clifford
Great eyes in all these pics!! Peter A, love that perspective. Reina, what an angel. Tom, I like the promising glow in the bar glasses and Patrick, I know I'm crazy but I like using the HRF w/nocti because it is easy for me to frame the shot and the focus patch is bright. Technical stuff: film - Fuji NPH, processed and scanned at a local Sam's Club (Fuji Frontier Machine) so I was working with a compressed jpeg image to start with which ultimately accentuates the grain especially after using the curves tool.
