I live in Minneapolis, MN and it would be great to take care of this locally, but I realize that may not be the 'best' solution. Suggestions are appreciated. paul ron Posted April 24, 2004 Share Posted April 24, 2004 Take it to a repair shop to be checked. Many pro camera repair guys will check your camera free or may charge a small fee to asses it. They generally wind up doing the CLA or seals anyway once the customer buys it so it's was worth the trouble. Inspect the lens for dirt & fungus, infinity focus, flash synch, shutter speeds & cocking, seals on everything, focusing screen alignmnet, bellows, light tightness, cocking and body mechanicals, DE lock outs, back/s, shoot a roll of film.
