looking nikon f information

A friend just gave me a Nikon F body with a couple of lenses as a

present...I have never used Nikon bodies and need some assistance on

how to work it, is there a book or web site with this kind of

information.

There's a Nikon forum on photo.net. Lots of knowledgeable folks there who are familiar with the early Nikon F cameras.

The F is a very simple camera to use. What problems are you having with it?

Go to www.cameraquest.com It has a lot of information about the Fs. To use, you will need an instruction booklet, and you may find one at Craig's used camera manuals. (Forgot his URL).

The camera is simple but if it has a metered prism you'll have to identify which one and locate the appropriate instructions on the photography in Malaysia site.

 

<p>I think there are four different metered prism models. There's a good chance that it isn't working properly if you have one. (though you can opt to have it repaired or use a handheld meter) If you're lucky, you have the unmetered prism which is simple, elegant simplicity!
