richard_amlot
I am trying to find out if any of you know of 3rd Party manufacturer makes replacement shoulder straps for a Hasselblad Camera. I've seen plenty of Op-Tech straps for 35mm etc.
Looking forward to your comments and suggestions
Richard
ken_eng
Actually, Op-tec makes a wide strap with lugs that will fit H'blads and Bronicas. It's modeled after their Pro camera strap and made of same neoprene material. It has rubber beads on one side to prevent slipping. It's about $20.00US.
Hope this helps!
Ken
bruce_z._li
Richard:

You might also want to look at various Lowepro or Domke pro straps. They come in different materials(Neoprene, cotton with rubber woven in) and different width, with O-rings or straps to fit almost any camera. Some of the models will be good enough for MF cameras. In fact I recently bought one for my Fuji 6x9 and feel pretty happy about it.
alex_b.
What I did was cut the steel ends of the original (supplied) short strap -goes only around your hand with 553ELX- and now I can put them on whatever strap I need (currently using a Nikon one). You may think that cutting a leather strap is crazy but I am willing to trade the material for functionality. It works!
