g_guhan_gunaratnam2
Hello, I had previously decided to buy Energizer Lithiums for use in my PB- E2, but I cannot find them at any local retailers (I don't want to get over the net). I've decided to get some rechargeables. What is the maximum safe mAh for usage in the PB-E2? Thanks in advance
phule
mAH is a measure of how much energy a battery can store. You should be buying the highest capacity NiMHs you can find. This means you should be buying 2200 or 2300 mAH NiMHs.
whayne_padden
Yes, all AA NiMH are 1.2V and it doesn't matter what capacity they are so you should get the largest capacity you can. Sanyo make an excellent battery and have released 2300mAh units. I have just bought these for my PB-E2 and 550EX.
