Rolleiflex 2.8c strap issue

I have a classic tapistry strap that I love, but it only has the

standerd loop clips on it. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I

might make it work on a 2.8c. I was thinking about key rings, but

they didnt work. I was also just thinking about tying it on with

fishing line or something, which is probibly what Ill end up doing.

You might try some eyelets that you can get at a fabric shop. Then once in place, squeeze them slightly out of shape to ensure that they won't come off.

Op-tech do a loop-ended strap which looks like it would work very well. I use a plain leather strap with a hole and slit cut into the ends for my Automat (the cameras have a similar strap attachment) and it works well. I think this was a common arrangement whan the cameras were "current".
