dennis_couvillion
Thank you, Alex. Yes, these were taken in New Orleans. Here's another. Notice how everyone seems to have the same bleary-eyed look? I wonder why that is. Maybe too much Diet Coke. ;>) Dennis<div></div>
john_fleetwood
The squashed-in lady claimed that she was actually quite comfortable. Great shot of my ex and her mother.

SolaresLarrave
Did you ask these people to pose? Did they volunteer? How did you get to take these great, natural shots of people? They're great!
dennis_couvillion
These particular shots I would call "spontaneous posing". :>) Some shots from that day are totally unposed. In other shots, like these, I would walk up to the person with my camera ready and just smile and say, "I'd like to take your picture." Then I would shoot the instant they did anything. The result was lots of spontaneous smiles. Glad you enjoyed the pics. Dennis

crackers_.
Joel, I'm no authority, but it's the last day of a blowout before Ash Wednesday when Christians begin the season of Lent - a time of relatively mild self-denial.
