Alex_Es
This lady is a server in a chanko-nabe restaurant. A nabe (nah-beh) is a kind of stew made up of meat vegies, fish, etc. Chanko-nabe is eaten by Sumo wrestlers. One pot which can serve around five people is downed by one sumo-san. They're big guys. This restaurant is owned and managed by an ex-sumo-san. I got together here with my buddies from the Kobe Classic Camera Club for our first party of the year (2004).<div></div>

Allen Herbert
The red eyes gave the creeps. Lets be honest, who would want a death fight with that on a country lane. Come to think of it, suppose it had found a way out of the fence. Some things are better not thought about.

Alex_Es
Happy V-Day, Sandy! In fact you are my teacher, good friend. You walked me through posts pix almost a year ago. Thanks!!! I too want this thread to go on and on. Here's a street shot I did in Shinsaibashi, Osaka about two years ago. It makes me think of the Beatles' song "Lovely Rita, Meter Maid."<div></div>
