clark_fei
I want to buy a film scanner with a reasonable price. Please give me some suggestion. Thanks a lot!!!
._._z
Give a budget. Say what format you're using it for.

carl smith
Minolta Dual IV is a good option.

joachim
A recently dicontinued Nikon Coolscan IV might be an alternative (if you still can get one). It has ICE, which I find particular valuable for negative scans.
harry_pluta3
I've been using a Polaroid SprinScan 4000 for a few years now and have nothing but good things to say about it. I do use the full retail version of Silverfast's scanning software rather then the bundled software that came with the Polaroid. -harry
gaius1
I'm pretty happy with my CanoScan 9900. It's a flatbed scanner with an FAU (film adapter unit) for up to 24 35mm negatives (4 strips of 6), tho' the lab I use returns them in 4s, still 16 in one pass isn't bad. It goes up to 3200 DPI. phule
Another vote for the Minolta DiMAGE Scan Dual IV (I own the DiMAGE Scan Dual III). For the money, it's a great buy.
