kent_demas1
The SF210 is the slide feeder that is now sold for the Coolscan 5000. Does anyone know if the SF200 will work as well? Thanks in advance for the help!
Dennis Peek
Yes. I have been using my older SF200 on a new LS5000 for several weeks. Good source of info is the Nikon Europe tech support website. Select England and search. More info than the US website. They have a table of scanner adapter compatability. http://www.europe-nikon.com/support/
olivier_reichenbach
Well, that's a good thing because this feeder is ridiculously expensive.
kent_demas1
Dennis... thanks for the info. The adapter is pretty pricey and I am glad that I will not need to buy a new one!
efusco
Is the SF210 a significant improvement over the SF200? I don't know that I'd replace the one I have, but there were certainly some design flaws that I was disappointed Nikon didn't address...They could've made a couple cheap plastic parts and sent them out to owners and dramatically improved customer satisfaction. I still have a plastic card taped in to keep the slides from jamming when feeding.
