Rebate on the Epson 3200...

Just got my early Christmas present and a surprise. My wife ordered

me an Epson 3200 from B&H photo and in the box was a $100 rebate

form. Brought the cost of the scanner to about $270 before shipping.

Here's a link that lists the rebate:

A=ShowProduct&Q=&O=&sku=276440

I'm sure this is due to the new scanner due out but, for my use, the

3200 should be fine. In the one quick test scan I had time to do on

a 6x6 b&w negative I was more than pleased with the results.

So, anyone waiting to buy a cheap medium format film scanner, maybe

this is the time...

Good luck,

Jim

I just put an order in at Dell.com for a 3200. $325.76 with no tax and free shipping. $225.76 after rebate. They're offering 10% off peripherals and software until 12/11. I'm not worried about the 4800 around the corner. I need a scanner now, not 3-4 months from now.
