D30 ...still actual?

my fried who want do first jump in digital asked me what i think

about canon D30,he found second hand+plus 35-70(he ll sell sure)and

+ 1 gb card ...all at 400 �..GOOD Price i think..i think is good

that canon..is small and so handly...it look a small my eos 1.

 

BUT he do reportage (like me)so the first interest is to sell photos

to magazines...and asked me if the resolution of 3,3 MP is capable

to make good printed...pages in magazine..and if they accept now

that resolution.

 

just for example i have seen that cary wolinsky in NG has done some

pics with a D1x of 5MP...but NG is NG..so if they accept that

quality sure other less important magazine do the same...

 

i dont know exacly if he can do a A4 print or if he can more...

can anyone help me?is possible a dooble page print?magazine usually

print at 150 lpi...so require 300 dpi resolution ...

 

how much resize is possible in photoshop for dont lost in

quality....i m talking about an "invisble max interpolation

Who cares?

Are you going to be able to do something meaningful with its specs? Then go

for it.

 

Same goes for Daguerrotype... if it suits one's needs without caring about the

disadvantages, who cares how actual the machine is?

 

3.3 is plenty for all newspapers and most magazines. Not really for A4... but if

you do PJ quite frankly, how often do you expect them to reserve you a full A4

?
