david_eppstein
Saw the movie Big Fish last night (which I enjoyed tremendously despite the mixed reviews it's been getting). Anyway, there's a scene where the son's photographer wife wants to takes some photos of the father, at night with no sign of a flash, and she uses a Leica for it. Anyone else catch this and have a better clue which model and which kind of lens?
jake_tauber
For you Leica spotters, go see "Gloomy Sunday" a terrific film that takes place in Hungary before and during WWII. Where one of the main characters extolls German ingenuity and the new 35mm camera.
akochanowski
I think it's an M6. Terrible movie, IMO.
albert knapp md
Go see Mystic River. No Leicas but outstanding photography (and acting.)
stephen_w.
21 Grams is also outstanding.
derek_stanton2
Definitely an M6. I didn't care for the movie either. Certainly the least "Burton-ish" of all of Tim Burton's movies.... Didn't really have any of the 'grandeur' i would have expected. If you haven't yet seen Lost in Translation, get there this instant.....

Uhooru
I think there's one or two used by Brad Pit in Spy Game.
vic_.
We just saw an Australian movie called "Proof" with a young Russell Crowe, circa 1993 (note: this is not "Proof of Life" an awful movie with him). In this movie, a blind man records things around him with a camera and has people describe the scenes to him. I won't tell the rest of the good story. ray .
I don't like sappy movies, and I can see where some would think 'Big Fish' was sappy, but I loved that movie. The lead actor is terrific too.

markci
Certainly the least "Burton-ish" of all of Tim Burton's movies....
Ridiculous. It was the very definition of Burton-ish.
Planet of the Apes was the least Burton-ish of his films.
