spyderman Posted January 28, 2004 Share Posted January 28, 2004 Hello guys, owners of the EF 50 f/1,8 II

this message is to all of you who are very disappointed with the built quality of this optically perfect glass. As many of you I also miss the proper focusing distance scale on my one and only favorite EF 50. But I decided to do something about it - not only I made the focusing distance scale, I also made it available for all of you on my website. I also added a manual how to make it, so just follow this link:

Spyderman's homepage -> Tech Tips

Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

marco_buonocore Posted January 29, 2004 Share Posted January 29, 2004 Fantastic! What a top notch link. I really appreciate your posting it, as one of the reasons my Canon gathers dust these days is that I hated not having a DOF scale on the (granted, cheaper) lenses. Couldn't be happier! spyderman Posted January 29, 2004 Author Share Posted January 29, 2004 Hi guys, Sorry, I don't have a digicam (but I promise I'll borrow one and post some photos) Well, actually using
<tags> is my addiction :o) And there's no need to be sarcastic, I just wanted to help (I also have the problem with dust inside of the lens, but it's my best glass anyway, since we in eastern Europe aren't as rich as you Americans are) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
