Kalloflex TLR accessories????

Hi gang,

 

Forgive my long post, please, but I want to give some background

before asking the question.

 

My first ever experience with MF was when I was 18 years old and a

dear friend of mine, wanting to spur my budding enthusiasm for this

medium, gave me a Kalloflex with a lens hood, some filters, a case,

and some other accessories. I loved this camera and found myself

reaching for it more than my Pentax Spotmatic or my Canon A1.

Through the years I built up my kit to include a Pentax LX with all

the toys. Then one day I found my appartment had been broken in to

and all my gear was gone.

 

Years later, in Camera and Darkroom in Albuquerque I found another

Kalloflex in great condition. I shoot with a 500C/M now, so I was

there looking for Hasselblad stuff. I struck a deal with the shop

to buy several accessories for the 'blad and the Kalloflex with the

final price on this fine little camera to be a whopping $90.

 

Well, my wife has laid claim to this little wonder and I rarely get

to use it. She reminds me often that I have my own camera :-) All

this said, I want to do the same for my wife that my friend did for

me so many years ago. I'd like to find some of the same accessories

for the Kalloflex that I had in order to support her enthusiasm. i

have found however that I don't know much about what is still

available for this camera and even less where to go for things like

filters, lens shades, cases, etc. Anyone out there have any

experience with this camera and can point me in the right

direction?

Ken: If I remember correctly, your wife's camera uses the comom Rolleiflex-Rolleicord easy to find bayonet I accessories.

I looked at a picture of one on the internet. I agree most likely bay

one accessories. So not only Rollei and Rolleicord should fit, but

anything made for Yashicamat as well.

Sorry to be so long on a reply, folks. Thanks for your responses. I'm

assuming Bay 1 accessories for the camera seems right, so I'll give it a try.
