peter_chiappini
Hello, I have a Rolleiflex SL35 body that is missing part of the rewind knob; the part that turns the film has fallen into the back of the camera and I have no way to get the camera open. I opened the bottom, but there wasn't any way to open it from the bottom either. Does anyone know of a way to get the back opened without removing the top of the camera? Any help would be appreciated. -Peter
richard_oleson
Borrow a small crochet hook and reach into the hole where the knob shaft fell in - feel around the edges for the metal ledge that works the latch, and pull up on it. You can bend a large paper clip or something if necessary for the task, but crochet hooks really work great. :)=
winfried_buechsenschuetz1
Would be easier if you were in Europe - most cameras have a 3mm metric thread on the rewind shaft. With a matching screw inserted you should be able to lift the shaft.
