alasdair_roberts
Help on the following question would be greatly appreciated! I have a Fuji GS645 on the way to give as a present, but apparently I will need to get a battery/batteries for it. I've never used one of these before; does anyone know what kind of battery I need to get, and how many? Thanks for your help -- and happy holidays. jim h1664876971
I have the fuji GS645 folding model it takes 1.5V x 2 my batteries say S76E. I believe the camera is fully functional without the batteries except the meter, everything else works mechanically as far as I know.
david_littleboy__tokyo__ja
The non-folding GS645S also takes two batteries. The ones in mine say LR44, and the meter works fine with them. By the way, you're a much nicer guy than I. I wouldn't give my GS645S to anyone<g>.
alasdair_roberts
Sorry, I should have said -- it's the non-folding model . . .
m_.
My suggestion is that if you are giving the camera to someone who doesn't know what battery is needed, then the chances are he/she will not properly use the camera. It would be such a waste as this really is a nice camera.
francois_gauthier
Hi, the code number for these batteries have change several times over the years. Right now you can choose between 2. The better one is SR44 (S for silver), more stable and last longer than LR44, the cheaper alkaline version. Personnaly, i use both on several cameras and accessories but recommand the Silver one for high-end devices like the Fuji.
fwstutterheim
Come on, Wentong Lin. He just wants to present the camera in full working order, which is the decent thing to do when making a present. Your suggestion that the receiver is too stupid to put the right battery in is unfounded.
