Mamiya 645E film advance

I just recently purchased a Mamiya 645E camera. I'm trying to insert

my film, I seem to be able to do that fine, however when I advance

the film it advances but never "clicks" or stops to let me know I can

take the next picture. Basically I can keep winding it all the way

to the end of the roll from the beginning. I can't seem to figure

out why it's not working. Am I overlooking something? I've looked

everywhere without an answer.

I figured it out. In case anyone else has this problem, the problem was caused by me not seeing the precut end of the film that is smaller than the width of the film that enters the spool. so I created my own cut to insert into the spool, which threw the film numbering off, and everything.

Once I noticed the precut insert everything worked perfectly.
